In-Person Listening Party & Album Release Potluck Celebration!

June 27, 3-7 pm, Camp Kawartha, Peterborough ON

I can't wait to gather and share some songs from this most recent Hope's Starlings song collection! This event will serve as an "album release party" and involve performance as well as an interactive song circle and live demonstrations of many of the community songs included in the collection.

I plan to share the origin stories of selected songs, and answer any questions you may have about my process, Hope's Starlings, and/or any of the songs.   

To listen to the songs ahead of time, check out the recordings here. If you love them and plan to listen again or share them in circle, please consider purchasing the download and/or lyric booklet-- it really goes a long way to support my work and I truly appreciate it :)

I look forward to returning to Camp Kawartha Environment Centre, a beautiful facility with sustainable buildings, a beautiful waterfront, over 185 acres of forest and fields and 6 kilometers of nature trails. We'll be mostly sticking to inside the unique sculpture of a building, unless it's a lovely day in which case we'll do some singing outside. 

Basic flow of the afternoon:

- 3-3:30 Arrival & Chit Chat

- 3:30 - 4 Welcome & Song Lineage, Q & A

- 4-5:30 Song Circle & Interactive Concert

- 5:30-7 Potluck 

Exchange - $25+/person or $45+/family

There will be lyric booklets, download codes & other merch available for sale. Cash is preferred.
