Payment and Cancellation/Refund Policy
A lot of dreaming, planning, budgeting and creative logistics go into co-guided retreats (Wild Belonging, Braided River and Willow Song). We love bringing these offerings to you, and we provide sliding-scale options for payment when we can to help make these experiences affordable. We're always optimistic that you'll make it to our retreats once you commit and register, AND we understand that sometimes things come up and plans have to change. We're sorry to see you go!
Our payment and cancellation/refund policy is as follows:
To secure your spot in a retreat, you must a) please get in touch via the contact form/send an email to let me know you're interested and b) send your $100 deposit or full payment by e-transfer.
Full payment is due four weeks before the start date of the retreat. If you cancel before this date, you'll receive all but your $100 deposit back. On and after this date and up to 2 weeks before the start date of the course, you'll receive a 50% refund if you cancel. With less than 2 weeks' notice, it becomes more difficult to fill your space last-minute, even with a wait list. So, there is no refund if you cancel on or after the date that falls two weeks prior to the start date of the retreat. For instance, if a course starts Friday November 24, you'll need to cancel by Thursday November 9 to receive your 50% refund. Please consider this before deciding to commit.
If you need to cancel and can find someone else to come in your place, CC them on an email to us, and have them introduce themselves. If it feels like a good fit, we'll let you know, at which point you can make whatever arrangements you like with your friend for compensation, as if you're “selling your ticket.”
If we the organisers cancel the retreat due to low registration and/or unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
We appreciate your understanding! These retreats have limited space and are run with a tight budget, which is what keeps them intimate and affordable. We really do depend on adequate enrollment to cover our expenses and to be compensated for our offerings.
Thank you!
